Binder Spine Label
Anyone who has ever worked in an office is aware of the sheer amount of paper that's produced, especially if you happen to be working on a design or production team. In situations like these, binder spine labels can be extremely useful, since the best way to keep track of your paperwork is often by means of three-ring binders. While you can always label them by hand, spine labels printed on a laser or inkjet printer are neater and easier to use, especially when you've got large numbers of binders to deal with. They also look a lot more professional than hand printing.
Binder spine labels can also come in handy when preparing course materials for a training class, or sales material for a convention or similar business gathering. All you have to do is print your binder spine labels on your computer printer, then peel and stick. While it still makes for a lot of work sometimes, it's easier that trying to print spine labels on plain paper and sliding them into the plastic holder on the binder spine -- or worse, gluing or taping them on.
In most cases, plain paper is sufficient for binder spine labels; however, if you want yours to really stand out, you can print your spine labels on special coated paper stock, or even on plastics like polyester or polypropylene. Plastic spine labels are especially useful for inventory and asset control purposes, because they tend to be more durable and weatherproof than paper versions.
