Laser Polyester Label
Plastics are a modern miracle in many industrial processes, and when it comes to labels, polyester is one of the most versatile and inexpensive materials out there. Not only is polyester easy to handle and cut, as a plastic, it can handle weather better than most papers (coated or uncoated), and polyester labels are generally more tamperproof: they'll deform and stretch before coming off of whatever they've been attached to, so they can't be as easily switched. They're great for price stickers and tamperproof seals, like the kind you might find on electrical meters or container closures.
Polyester labels are available in a variety of formats, both in rolls and in sheets, but sheet polyester labels are the most common. They're flexible enough to use in inkjet and laser computer printers, and pick up and retain the printing with no problem at all. While most people go for adhesive white polyester sheets, brightly-colored and clear laser polyester labels are also popular.
Make your labels polyester if you need a format that can survive extremes of moisture --especially if you need to label outdoor items. Because they're resistant to water and other solvents, they also make good inventory stickers and vehicle fleet window stickers, particularly if you need a label that can’t be removed without destroying it. Car registration stickers are often made from scored polyester, for example. Because polyester labels tend to be resistant to low levels of heat, they're also great for labeling electronic components like integrated circuit boards and memory chips.
