TR4070 Resin

The TR4070 Resin ribbon provides a crisp, long-lasting one-color image using standard thermal transfer technology: heated pins press the ribbon against the feedstock, melting the TR4070´s ink/resin formulation coating and transferring the image to the label. Resin ribbons offer the highest-quality thermal transfers, and the TR4070 is at the top of the heap because of its unique specs: the ink is resistant to smudging, scratching, abrasion, chemicals, and heat up to 400° F. It can handle ultraviolet light for up to 14 years, an unprecedented length of time even for resin ribbons. Needless to say, the TR4070 Resin ribbon isn´t for everyday use; it´s meant to handle the labeling jobs no other ribbons can handle. It meets all UL/CSA and AGA/CGA requirements, and even FDA requirements for indirect food contact. While the TR4070 can be used to print everything from ID cards to electronic components, it´s particularly recommended for use in automotive labeling.
